binliner 0
or if you want the comfort of standard suspension but better handling, reduced body roll etc get some thicker anti roll bars and keep the shocks standard

acf8181 0
by adjustable's, i meant damping adjustable...so you can stiffen or soften the shocks as you wish. used with o.e. springs they won't lower it at all.(maybe you meant to quote mina's post instead?) binliner 0
Sorry mate I thought Koni adjustables were shorter struts to use with lowering springs... didnt know you could use them with standard springs... surely they'll be compressed more?
nickbee 1
I never adjust my Koni adjustables. I gradually stiffened them until they were as stiff as they got, then I left them like that! They're great though.
binliner 0
The first few weeks of having my coilies I was adjusting the height and damping all the time... I think Ive got it how I like it now

acf8181 0
not sure...but they're good enough to say that the car is totally standard.the rears have been replaced on mine and are boge...fronts seem original and have no markings.[ Edited Tue Jul 27 2004, 12:48PM ]
SankysVR6 1
i was thinking about putting some 16" rims on at later date but not sure?
mickelson 0
so then, am i right in saying that Koni's are well recommended even if you dont want to lower. If i did want to lower,(which i am debating after having had quite a harsh ride on my MK2) wots a good set up for my Auto VR6 as it is a heavier set up than the manual??? acf8181 0
if you want handling but not lowering or and loss of ride quality why not just get uprated arb's
