Im going to steer clear of euro car parts HT leads because every set ive seen of them are terrible quality. Now the set which seems to be the best I know of is the genuine vw ones at £160. But are there any uprated ones which are any better?Also which plugs should I opt for? NGK iridiums at a tenner each? Or are there better under the counter secret bad boys? cactusjackslade 146 Posted January 31, 2014 Report Share Posted January 31, 2014 I brought some super duper 10mm ones for mine off eBay, obviously no performance gains, looked a mess as they didn't fit in the 8mm lead slots on the engine cover and rubbed on the bonnet! I brought genuine ones in the end in red. Look brill,fit brill, nice and neat, great quality. Volkswagen leads all the way In my opinion. Link to post Share on other sites

Lukey. 381 Posted February 4, 2014 Report Share Posted February 4, 2014 U I think is for two ground electrodesP is for platinum instead of copper on BKR5E. It's supposed to last for 40k as platinum is harder. Change copper ones at 20k and still save money over the platinum ones AND renew spark plugs more frequently.
