Seademon 0 Posted March 18, 2005 Report Share Posted March 18, 2005 I was meant to pick it up today and Im out straight after work tonight so Im picking it up tomorrow morning - Im sure it will sound good though & give me a couple of bhp in with the deal - it went in with half a tank of Optimax so I'll be taking the long way home! I dont have to worry about the MOT either cos I've known the bloke whos working on it for a while and he does the testing and said there wont be a problem in passing it Hopefully he can find what causing my judder/misfire aswell - hes gonna put the diagnostics on it once the exhaust is all back together. stevietots1 0 Posted May 24, 2005 Report Share Posted May 24, 2005 I think someone told me that the CAT emissions for the MOT only apply to cars registered after 93 (ie 92/93 VR's can get away without one). Does anyone know if this is correct? well last year when i had my 92/93 xr3i that didnt have a cat on it but it was meant to they just put it in the comnputer as a 92 j and it gave to options to test it with or without so i didnt have any hassle Link to post Share on other sites
