MarksMintness 0
Am I right in saying the VR6 takes 6.5 litres so you have to buy 2 of the buggers? Makes for an expensive service what with 6 plugs as well!

boselector 0
excuse another silly question, but it is 10-40w?also does anyone know what 10-60w is for?
Miss-Vw 2
The smaller number indicates the viscosity of the oil in cold temperatures. the larger number is the viscosity when warm. I use 10w40 in my VR. 10w60 just means the oil is better suited for higher temperatures (I think!).
anna 0
5.6 liters it take to be precise i use 15/40 oil from gsf
anna 0
15/40 is better for nely built engines as its thicker so lubes them up when they are dry
