VR6Nat 9 Posted June 4, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 4, 2010 Well i have done my oil and pollen filter change, got it mot'd, and also got the last locking wheel nut off and refitted my summer wheels!! so im getting back on track, extra long bolts have arrived so i can stick my spacers on too :) I was shocked by my pollen filter though!! check it out! Quite the opposite but its been a long tough few months to get where i am and i didnt wanna big up what was happening until it was done, best let the car speak for itself... ill give a rough idea...I was skint all last year so had to give up on doing any mods, then moved back with my dad n saved like mad and after selling some stuff managed to get enough to cover a respray, so i thought f**k it, and put the car in, 4 weeks was the quote and after many rows and 15 weeks i had to take the car away unfinished.However, ive spent the last few weeks working my a**e off to get all the bits together and cleaned up and back in the car, along with a few new bits too and its finally looking like a car again! Was a last minute dash and was still rebuilding it sat morning after having thur & fri off work to complete it! Took it to Volksfest this weekend and won top 5 water cooled so well chuffed. Ive built if for me and done what i want and not what i think people will like so i didnt want to go on and on then you lot think its pants, so thought id keep quiet and let the car do the talking. It had a lot of attention at Volksfest which was very flattering.
