Timah89 1
RIght then getting to the point where some nice new tyres are needed for the VR, any one got any ideas of which are the best to go for for a set that are not too dear but still do the job. I'm in the West Midlands area and have used Event Tyres previoulsy, wheels are the standard BBS on the VR so 205/45/15 thanks,
Andyaus 0
Quite a few of my mates have run Toyo Proxie T1R's on their cars and they really rate them. 2 of them had Integra Type R's and they more than coped well!! If you order them off the interweb they are really cheap too, i just looked on blackcircles.com and they are:205/45 R15 V (81) £56.44 I mean if you take your car to a local tyre place you can pay that for budgets! Timah89 1
even better, true result!
shail 0
I have had the Toyos on mine in the past. They are very good, giving great grip, but the trade off is that they dont last very long - about 10k for the fronts. I currently have some Khumos (yeah I know) on the fronts and they arent exactly grippy, but seem to be lasting a long time. PS - are you running a non standard profile tyre, just that mine are 205/55/R15 on standard wheels
Dave_ciw 507
Yokohama Parada Spec 2's but as said before the reason they give awesome grip is because they are so soft and dont wear as well as other like bridgestones. But depends what you want really.........
matty.vrt 120
done 15,000 on a set of parada spec 2's on a charged vr i thought they wore well but were to hard.
Dave_ciw 507
Thats what I am running now ........ Couldnt tell you about hard as the car is as stiff as f**k lol
Caddymatt1380 0
Avon ZV1's I think. Very good when warm.
Rikki 2
Heard good things about these guys. http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m4b0s93p0 Try205/50's quite a bit cheaper and nicer ride if your not lowered, think that is the size that should be on there anyway
soul-2-soul 3
I have ordered off Camskil before & they are one of the cheapest for Toyo's. However i think that Goodyear F1's are way better than Toyo's
Knightrider 1
Thought the standard tyre on VR 15" wheels (6.5J) was 205/50/15??? That what mine has, so does my mate's Corrado VR on 15" Speedlines.
