Pittuf 0
I don't know about you, but I am almost guranteed to see 3 or 4 a day.Have they lost some of their exclusiveness?Don't get me wrong, I'd still jump at the chance of having one, the boxter I was in the other day was great, I would love to own a Subaru, I almost did before I got the VR.They just seem abit common these days, you don't see a Ferrari everyday, you don't see Lambourghini's every day, you don't even see Astons or Rollers everyday!!! Desire68 0
And unless you own one,you don't see VR6's everyday either!Mike.

Nerih 0
i hardley EVER see any vr's here in milton keynes....i've seen a GTI lookalike and a vr6 corrado storm...many valvers but not vr's...pansies..
acf8181 0
i see at least 10 911's or boxsters per day.they never have been that exclusive...not in the way a ferrari is anyway. the entry level porsche boxster is only like £38k i think, where as a new ferrari doesn't start below £100k...hence why their rarer. plus ferraris cost mega money to service (my mates dad just had one costing £6k!)but i lust after a ferrari in a way i never could for a posche. acf8181 0
oh, i see loads of vr6's everyday here as well...usually late standard mint ones driven by 40 year old women for some reason!
Nerih 0
if your not using it, your abusing it.... hehein terms of the vr6 and old women...nothing else implied here.[ Edited Thu Nov 11 2004, 11:31PM ]

Guest Olly_K
boxters are way too common........i always think of them as a poor mans porsche. Although i'm seeing a few 911 turbos on the way to work now.............not that i mind.........they look phat !

cliveyp 0
with 100k to spend on a car, i'd be a very happy man!! More than likely a very happy man with a Porsche though! lolSlowly convincing myself that a Porsche will be the next car if i can't stretch to an R32. Probably look at an older Carrera 4........ hmmm! 8)
fin 0
My 100k would definitely be well spent in the Aston dealers, apparently the upcoming AM v8 laps the Nurburgring quicker than a GT3! Thats pretty quick for a standard car, and if they come out at 60k i could get a tvr. DB9s arent bad either IMO. ;-)
Valver 0
While I agree that Porsches are prob not as exclusive as Ferraris etc - they are also the more sensible supercar option hence you see more on the road. They're one of the few supercars that you can use daily, unlike Ferraris/Lambos which are a nightmare to drive in stop/start traffic etc......Maybe it's because of this reason tho, they don't turn heads like the Italian exotica but on the plus side if I see a nice Porker 996 Turbo etc I think the driver has good taste and is into driving/cars, when I see a Ferrari I think sometimes that the driver just wants a badge/status symbol/pose-mobile!!! With my money, I'd go Porsche everytime!
acf8181 0
yep, fair point about porsche's being suitable everyday drivers.
