is the selctor fork in the right place.. is it possible that its located wrong?? can that happen?? im gutted for ya mate... i was looking forward to a nice rn with you and a few others down there.. give us a bell either way, and we can still meet up. as ive got to go and collect my c2 ecu sunday , which ben will have for me.. it should solve all my problems..

well its all sorted now managed to get the box stripped and found a bent selector big hammer sorted that lol rebuilt and back in with n 4 hours ... and my first 50 miles already done ... just an ABS fault to sort out ..

fair play. right everyone place your bets on how long it lasts lol :-d

lol, its always mechanics that destroy cars,,, have no idea why, what did dlea get before it went bang?

rite quick update seam to have sorted the stalling and idle problem, cleaned plugs, throttle body, isv valve and used clips on all vac and boost related hoses ... running good at the mo .....

but also foudn i have an oil leak from the top head gasktet so needs to sort ...

Carburettor/injector cleaner will do the job nicely. Spray on and use an old cloth to aggitate and wipe away the depoits. Repeat until all surfaces are clean. if yo do the throttle body make sure both sides of the butterfly are clean. Pay particular attention to the top and bottom of the housing where the butterfly sits when it's closed.

rite another quick up date im now dumping my braded fuel lines as the main feed line to the injector rail blew off on the M1 while pushing a 335i lol .... and the stalling and cutting out is still happening and have noticed is over fueling big time ..... black smoke the lot

re torqued the head down went to 95 ftlb .. hope that stops the oil leak ... have removed the fpr as was unable to adjust the fuel pressure so back to normal now, still black smoking at times, no idle and cutting out and surging on long runs, have made double sure there are no air leaks ... next step is to change the two coolant temp sensors and the plugs

have been thinkin that but thought they were fine as i cleaned them ... but fcuk it ill chage them anyway ... cheers buddy ... just posted in bens thread if its ok to pop over tomo aswell if u dont mind we cna sort the door cards and head out at the same time
