Paul1982 0 Posted March 28, 2007 Report Share Posted March 28, 2007 The standard manifold i was told by my exhaust centre is a restrictor, the 6 branchers and full systems will give a big difference in performance.Depending on what bore size the rest of the system is running i'd say:On a 2 and a half inch bore 185bhp and 180lbOn a 2 and three quarter inch bore 195bhp and 186lb.The branch manifold will bring ur torque levels up to near enough ur horse levelSo yes Jays with a N/A, Super or turbo car you can have the torque allot more. jims13 6 Posted March 29, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 29, 2007 right got back from my local rr.the result was199.7 bhp .............................im very happy, i had said at the time that a good engine should make around 190-195 those mods..think it twas 151 at the wheels , we had 47/48 bhp loss through the transmission, but this is consitant with other vw 's i have had rolling roaded.#jim Link to post Share on other sites
