gazbrook 0 Posted July 7, 2004 Report Share Posted July 7, 2004 Hi Guys,I have been chatting to grant motorsport recently and the usual supercharger vs turbo debate , he has suggested maybe getting throttle bodies as they will give a unique sound , similar gains as a supercharger(not sure if i believe that or not) and a similar price aswell as keeping it normally aspirated. Has anyone seen or heard a car with these mods and do you know what gains i would be likely to get,cheers Link to post Share on other sites

gazbrook 0 Posted July 8, 2004 Author Report Share Posted July 8, 2004 gareth spillers vento is estimated at 250 bhp+ its a 2.8 24v , with ported and flowed head,better cams,6 branch tubular manifold(not sure what difference that makes???) and of course throttle bodies, i would guess more in the 40/50 bhp region rather than similar to supercharger gains ie 75 bhp plus like quoted by grant, still have to get an exact price off him, if anybody gets a ball park figure before let me know,if its a bit cheaper than the charger i could still go for it as its a bit different Link to post Share on other sites
