Earwig 89 Posted July 30, 2006 Report Share Posted July 30, 2006 Well another weekened, another show ! !Good to see some new faces this time round !Good to meet Luke and his girlfriend (I aplogise but cannot remmeber her name :-( ) Jim and lisa also for the first time ! Also met Madge for the first time to !Nice to see some familiar faces too. The 1/4 mile whore Goth and Cadguy along with Kevin and patrick (Spindatdub,Sparks) ! Sun was blazing for most of the day through the broken cloud, Many got burnt !Luke lost his 1/4 mile Virginity and clocked some impressive times for a virtually standard Vr at 15.5 dead ! I was not to far behind with a 15.8 :-p I think Goth ran a similar time to me in the end, we had a few good races and hope we have lots more next year ! Or at any other strips that may crop up Was a pretty good show, Not the best but not the worst.Not such a good turn out...... Would have liked to have seen a few more make the trip and help support the club. Many I know went to Castle combs and some had Car probs so they can be excused this time round :-p Anyway here's the pics courtesy of my bit of fluff Donna 8-| Enjoy. I'm liking all that tarmac testosterone peeeps! i can see a new era for club members, breaking away from the green pastures and perhaps even signing up for that magic pilgrimage to the land of our fathers - Germany and following the fellowship of the ring... watch the events section.Great pics fluff and madge, I'm likin' the group photos, they make it much more of a club event for all to see!
