    I haven't asked him to do the loom as I'd already got in touch with someone else and been through what I want. Yeah Daveyboy you'll only need 1 with mk3 ECU. Will prob go sachs too.

    Id give stealth a ring. I'm using mk4 management so might as well use the 4 as theyre there anyway, not really about needing them. I guess it would map better as has more info from lambdas...? Partial guess there.

    Got the downpipe for 12 and 24v from my 2 donors. Not wanting lightened flywheel, using standard. Stealth are doing my ECU work yes. Already primed. Loom guy busy till Sept.

    I'm hoping the pump will pay for something else Using 12v flywheel and clutch. Need to pick up a clutch.

    Picked up the non a/c serpentine belt yesterday so can get rid of pump. Apparently it was the last one in Germany (dont know if i believe that, maybe UK), £16 from dealer.

    Bit of an update.. Full BDE engine 73k. VR6 base loom for MFA and got passenger airbag. Clocks and ECU VR fuel pump, all the Mk3 VR parts came from the same donor car. Heres my DBW pedal and loom from same car as engine and ECU. Needs the mount sorting for Mk3 pedal box. 2 spd fan controller to go with rad fans from Mk3 donor. Got round to cleaning up calipers for paint. Got most of the main parts now aside from fixings... Cant turn a spanner till the looms get done. Will be getting ECU sent of for immo defeat in the meantime along with new clutch and get engine

    You need the DBW throttle pedal and loom too. Try and get engine, looms, ECU and pedal from same car. I'm doing this swap too so see my estate thread. I'll upload some more pics soon. Good luck!

    Cheers. I've got some 280s to go on but will get good discs and pads. Can I ask what you cut and welded exhaust wise and to what?

    Off to fetch the engine, looms, ECU, Dbw pedal today. Ive got most of the conversion parts now (he says!). Fuel pump and exhaust still need sorting. Looms wont be done till poss Sept though as the chap is busy.

    I need a cat Tbh I can't remember what I was going to use, I have it somewhere written down...24v manifold and 12v downpipe? I'll need a custom rear exhaust I think with the estate.
