    Awesome man, appreciate the input.. I haven't been able to get right under my car yet to have a proper look.. I will see what scorpion supply and failing that maybe get a custom system made up for it. . Al get it on my mates ramps next week at some point I think

    anyone know if mk4 r32 decat pipes will fit the 3.2 v6 a3? or would it be mk5 decay pipes? or is it completely different again? im wanting cats out along with silencers and centre box.. thats all thats missing in my life is noise!!!!

    I went on the German ebay.de to take a look around and they do a custom cast inlet for around £200 I think.. have a mooch around but I think they are around that

    I recognise that number plate for some reason.. sweet car man, can't beat the noise of the vr.. Welcome to the club and enjoy!! Don't be afraid to ask any questions no matter how silly you might think they are, everyone here to help and not take the piss too much anyway haha

    It's a 6 speed manual mate, used to be a company car so it's had thousands of pounds spent on servicing from audi and specialist garages. A recent lightweight clutch and flywheel, a few other bits then it's had a map to tweak it a little, it's a very snappy motor.. just need to make it sound a bit better now. Gonna modify the cats and maybe delete a centre box to give it some grunt... I would like to get another mk2 as a project but that will be next year now if anything unless a bargain pops up... but again I think it would need a r32 or vr6 lump

    daveyboy is right, its in maidstone,kent.. i bought it from a guy in newcastle last year after it was sat in a garage for a year stripped down, i rebuilt it and re painted it (im a painter by trade) and since traded it on and ended up with this.. mk2 was a nice car when i finished with it. good clean paintwork, new wheels, fresh service.. but could have been a lot better if i had more time for it.. just wasnt usable enough for what i needed.. if i could have afforded to just keep it and garage i would have, just not an option at the time to be honest..

    Cheers man.. I do like it.. seems to tick all the right boxes. . Just need some advice from r32 owners on what to do with exhaust to give it a better noise.. I'm tempted with cutting the cats open and removing the insides and welded back up plus a centre box delete.. but unsure what the 32 lads do.. I've heard of a flapper mod but need to do some research ...

    Been a while since I've been on here trading a couple of cars to where I am now... The mk2 was traded with a guy because I wanted to go down the boost route, ended up swapping it straight for a mk5 gti in black.. clean unmolested car to be fair, the interior was sublime. Then without even chasing it a guy ended up messaging me on the mk5 gti Facebook forum asking if I wanted to do a straight swap for his Audi A3 S-Line 3.2 v6 Quattro... I was a bit unsure at first thinking it was too good to be true.. Half heated leather, full audi history and the noise of the 24v v6... I said yeah why not,

    Here's my entry.. dunno if it will be anywhere near as good as others on here but... It's a 1992 (H) Mk2 VR6 2.8, running a full stainless system minus all boxes except back box, s/s headers, interior above will be fitted shortly, air filter with heat shield, lenso bsx bbs reps 7.5j fronts, 9j rears.. Engine bay is going to be stripped and tidied with battery and water bottle delete along with fresh paint.
