What's people's thought on the above? I've been looking around and they are all über expensive!! I'm rebuilding from the ground up and thinking about the idea but then when I've explored the cost it seems far too much cost to be effective! All calipers removed today.. Struggling with the rear caliper carriers, been and bought myself some Irwins Bolt grippers to try and remove them! Got a couple of options with calipers, either replace them with brand new or refurbish them myself and replace pistons and seals.. What route to go down will be determined if I can clean the original Pistons up or not.. Coilovers have also been ordered so the original legs and springs will be coming out this week, new top mounts are coming next week.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just refurbished my starter motor which I buggy second hand a couple of weeks ago. Has anyone got any front end pics of the starter fitted with what cables run to it and from it? The car didn't have one on to start with so I'm just trying to put the pieces to the puzzle and learn as I go.. I have 1 multi plug which is there and is connected to the starter, there are 2 bolts , 1 of which is a link between top half and bottom half of starter, other I'm assuming is for the positive battery cable to run from to the battery??? Then from alternator I have a thick black cable which I'm assuming

Quick discussion from you guys, can the old ABS rings from my previous discs just be swapped over onto new ones? Just I can get brembo discs for half the price of standard reasonable quality ones but they don't have the abs rings.. Is it worth just biting the bullet or has anyone done this before?? A long over due update on the corrado. Finally got around to getting a genuine second hand starter motor which I have refurbished (not yet fitted). I've spent a few ££ on it over the last few weeks acquiring the parts and serviceable items I need.. Started to cracking with it on Saturday gone, made progress of changing the oil for shell helix, a fresh set of denso iridium plugs along with a brand new set of leads. Oil filter has been changed along with fuel and air filters.. God it needed a bit of tlc. All the breaks have been broken down and serviced and are to be built back up next wee

I certainly did after a bit of bartering etc.. Ended up getting it delivered last weekend.. Here are a few snaps.. Needs paint and a few pipes here and there but it's all going to be stripped down and re built to make it the best it can be...

guys ive just been to a mates of a mates place and looked at a few cars he has for sale, ive spotted a dragon green raddo vr sitting at the back of his garage.. its currently been sat for 6 years and not turned a wheel, engine is missing a starter motor and a couple of little daft things.. has 90k with full history and a leather interior there aswell as the original mint condition cloth one, sunroof works and could probably do with a load of servicable parts to get it back to good health.. at a rough guide price what do you think it could be worth? im tempted with buying it and keeping it as a

Have you bled the system? You could have a air trapped in there somewhere giving you false readings or generally messing with your system... I had the same issue with my mk2 vr

Lol he was there at 9.30 then away at 2.30.. half a show with no car. . Still sitting on his mams drive with the chain guide knackered.. it's just standing there rotting away.. all of the hard graft I put into it.. what a waste halfa... maybe you might make the 2020 show but probably still be late..
