    Ha, that's what they used.. was like something from the 50 ' s. .. but it's all good now.. Was like someone dragging their nails down a chalk board really loud in my ear lol. . Was horrible... Note to self, only use a jet wash to clean my ears out haha

    Yeah cheers sep. . Sat there for 2 and a half hours for them to take 30 seconds to take it out.. was sick of my life, arse was killing on them daft metal seats and then seeing loads of weird people coming in and out ha.. Traumatic experience over with lol..

    Well.. After having a nice shower after work today, I decided to clean my ears as you do, our lass opens bathroom door and knocks into me then pushing a bastard cotton bud in my ear, now the fucking cotton end is stuck in there.. get to a and e and been told there is a 3 hour waiting time in front of me.. sick as hell.. Soo glad I pay all that money in tax and national insurance to wait 3 hours when there is 6 people in the waiting room.. Just thought I'd share my pissed off mood with everyone lol, non vr6 related haha

    Ok Luke, so what is the cure for it? Should there be an air pipe off the other end of it? Or what do I need to do to stop it from pulsing ? Maybe a small air filter on the end of it? Stop any shit going back in to engine?

    It's pulsing once the engine warms up and when your in the car is makes the engine sound like it's knocking it's head off lol

    I know it's been discussed before but doesn't really give a plan to sort it out.. When I bought my mk2 vr the engine was already fitted and already had an aftermarket stand alone cone air filter instead of the air box.. After I got all the work done on it and got it on the road, I started to notice a pulsing/knocking noise coming from the engine bay (particularly the air filter side).. thinking the worst I checked it out and found a small plastic round valve with an air pipe inserted in it along with an electric connection. .     Anybody bought an alloy rad from the guys on ebay? they are based over Lancaster area and have loads of alloy stuff for sale all the time. Wanting to upgrade the cooling system on the mk2 vr and looking at these as the way to do it with maybe a 2 x 10" twin fans on the back of it? Apparantly they keep the car at around 75-85 degrees...

    Thought I would start a thread on the weird and wonderful minds of all you vr heads... I got the job of painting my mates wheels to go on his focus st.. I did them in high gloss pearl pink. . The pics don't do them justice but what a tremendous colour to paint with... The flip between pink, orange, blue and white...

    Cheers mate. I Really like the oak green, never thought I would, dunno what they had painted it with before hand mind you... It was really dark and flat. The Oak green that I have put on it is a really metallicy dark green.. plenty of pearl in it and it's made a massive difference in my eyes..

    That's 2 vr resprays under my belt now. .. mine and davyboys mk3... The roof is ok but could benefit from more buffing then some polish and wax when I get chance...
