Hi mate. Got the dash for £200 and it cost me £1400 to get it in, that's including trimming the door cards. (Not including the RS4 Wheel)

Cool, what are you choosing re heater controls? Climate control or the rare manual heater dials similar to the mk3?

The Manual Dials. I had the climate control but decided not to run that.

Omg !! I have the same problem. When I pull off it misfires from 1300-1500 rpm and that's it. When past that its all fine. If you find out the problem please let me know. Thanks

Took it down on Saturday morning and the guy said its going to take a lot more longer. He said it sounded like a easy job Until he see all the parts

I suppose it's not impossible. No doubt it will require some serious fabrication with heater box / air con and position of handbrake etc.. May be different, not for the faint hearted! :DClub Chairman

I've got a full dash and loom and the cars booked in on Saturday to a company in Southampton. He's charging £750, I'm assuming that's about right ?

Has Anyone Swapped Mk3 VR Dash For A Mk1 TT One ?

Either that or your ABS isn't working, the rears will lock up dead easy if the ABS isn't functioning.

[Who can polish my manifold ?]

I got a flap sanding wheel for mine, an 80 git, attached to a drill take off texture, hot knife through butter.

Then used wet and dry down to 3,500 grit and then used my polishing mops I got from frost.

Turned out ok!

Of course, I'd always advise taking off the car first as it's 100x easier.

I also had my manifold vapour blasted along with other engine bay items to give the rest of the manifold a good finish...
