The guy who did it for me is a mate and as I said before he was involved in an accident at work the start of this week and has said as soon he is back to full health he'll sort it out for me so I'm not stressing just yet.

Soooo today was a dry day for us in Kent... I got these pictures last night: Then this morning I got this picture: Everything else that was being done (short shifter, suspension set up) was done too. So I now have HID's in projector morette headlights with tinted fog, indicator and american style side lights as well as the car handling sooooo much better now!! While all this was being done, a few other faults were found, my PCV Breather Valve Diaphragm is split which explains the lumpy idling and my air filter that is a few months old has also split!!! So these are next to b

Ok so I have a couple of pictures as it's finally back from the body shop after a small issue of the doors rubbing the front wings on both sides. I've got a couple of pictures at the end but as i've said many a time, it certainly isn't clean and you can clearly see the difference in the colour of the wings and the rest of the car, DanielH was going to polish it for me but had an accident at work, so I'm gonna let him recover before making him do it lol. Anyway, now that it's back from the body shop it's going off to another pal of mine Matt who is going to fit my short shift for my gears a

Don't get me wrong mine isn't being taken apart because it keeps breaking, it's because I bought it with a few problems and every time i manage to squeeze some time onto it,it has to be taken apart lol.
-
Very nice mate, same colour as mine!! I've had mine since September and only done about 500 miles in it due to it being taken apart every other day lol.

How difficult was it to fit? Can you put my name down please boss. Just let me know how and when to pay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Unfortunately not yet, the coilovers were fitted over the weekend while I was on holiday and then it was dropped off at the body shop on Monday morning so I haven't seen it yet lol. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Ok so here's the current situation.... My pal Liam and I have been struggling to get one top mount nut undone. It seems as if it has fused itself with rust to the strut and wasn't coming out no matter how hard we tried. So in the end Liam decided it was time for us to give up and for me to find a garage with a impact gun and ask them to shock it off, now I've done this before and spent a whole day looking for one to do the same with my VXR Burg so i knew it wasn't going to be easy. So I posted a message up on FB and asked if anyone could help, Liams mate Matt said he had an impact gun and he

Cheers pal, that's one of the things I need to do, it hasn't been cleaned since touring Europe around March this year for a month. It shall be cleaned this weekend. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Right after many a month of not having the Golf working due to either the weather or how busy we both have been, my pal and I have finally got the fat bitch moving lol. Pretty much all of my original list is done barring a few issues, but after having it stripped to pieces and building it back up my to do list has grown extensively. So here are my current lists: To be done: Recaro seats (front) Smoked front indicators/fog units Rewire indicators and fogs Pressed numberplates Carpet mats Pollen filter Front coilovers Rear wheel bearing Windscreen Morettes HIDs Front and rear anti roll bars Fron

Looking forward to this!! Would love some info on how to fit (preferably with pics lol) once it's for sale!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I wouldn't do any of those. I'd probably change to 17 inch alloys and then work on the interior, the exterior is finished really.

Cheers dude, tbh I haven't really driven it, I've done 200miles in it since I got it, which was about 6 weeks ago lol. My VXR delivered the power differently to the VR so I think the only time I'll need to get used to the power is when racing cars on the motorway, I'll have to pick my fights more carefully lol. I'm going to get 17" alloys and front and rear anti roll bars, then I think it's pretty much done for handling for now. Then it's just power I'll be looking at, will probably go turbo but I've got a lot of research to do before I spend my money tbh.
