  1. Its Quite a special car this, as it had been sent to GTI Engineering /BBR for a Super Plus Pac engine upgrade when it was around a year old, which consisted on gasflowed/ported cylinder head, highlift cams, flowed throttle body, chip, modified airbox and panel filter, it made for a rather swift VR6, and after owning several of these since, i have yet to come across another that has a top end like this one, still running standard valves and inlet manifold. My mate has a VR6 with a big valve head and Schrick manifold its better than this but not massively

  2. Hi guys im wondering if any one has any knowledge on these vr6 gti enginnered engines like what the internals consist off, if any headwork etc been done as thinking of replicating one. Was gonna buy one till noticed engine is screwed so steard away from it. Any info that can be shed on these engines will be appreciated. Happy show season of dubbing

  3. I think this is pretty normal has I checked a lot of the cars at the shows and they were the same although not quite as much of a gap.

My has a gap but not quite as big. Did you change the top mount bushes or use your originals???

I've replaced my old ones with some powerflex bushes and have not knocks.

Originals bought brand new for my car just lowered. And struts caps are not so high unlike on my gti that i used as a reference picture as i was in middle of build but all fitted no knocks and is sweet as a nut thanks for help guys
