  3. Glad you found the Bora front end to be a pain in the arse... horrible looking mod imo. Looking nice now with the Koenigs on... keep it coming
  4. Here is a pic of my engine bay.. shows the rectangular coilpack. It also has the 16 pin plug in port in the next to the ashtray. It is a Dec 94' car so I'm guessing its an early adopter of OBD2
  5. Lee123d, Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately it is the coilpack that has all 6 points for the HT leads to attach. Does this mean it is OBD2? My VR6 is late 94. Was this a change over period?
  6. Right, I have purchased quite possibly the most important thing for this build!! And for only £12.99..... a deal if there ever was one!!
  7. The colour is odd as a box of frogs on a MK5 but the stance is epic!
  8. The White Mk4 with the brown highlights is awesome!! And the 911 on splits...Looks like a quality turnout - Good Pics dude
  9. Awesome vr6 fella, just shows how far I have got to go before mine looks anywhere near halfway decent!!
  10. My bro said it didn't even have the 6 plug points... but not sure if it was the Ford type Lukey
  11. The coilpack was the wrong one... surprising really as they had taken my reg plate! So its back to GSF and paying £78 for the right part.. Thought it was to good to be true!!
  12. My bro has just pulled in a favour and got a new coilpack for £40 as well... its defo who you know!! just need the leads and plugs and we will know that they aren't the problem. This VR6 will be running by the weekend.
  13. Cheers again Pearsy... I have just bought a Bentley manual on eBay for a bargain price of £12.99.. Just hope its a real one when it gets delivered and not a load of printed pages/pdf's!!
  14. I was also going to suggest checking the plug for a break etc' date=' as Lukey says for NO spark on any plug is unusual [/quote'] Thanks for the info Pearsy and Oldmandon, If i pull the plug off the top of the coilpack, can I test for a feed on any point? or is there a certain point I need to check? - These electronics are an unbelievable pain in the ass!! Much prefer working on the old flat four!! Will post with the outcome as soon as I can
  15. I agree with the carbon roof not working... Would have been cool on a white or black car, but a bit odd on a blue motor. But its horses for courses and that... but a proper nice lookin motor dude
  16. There is a 53 relay in position 11.This is an extra 53 relay on some wires. It looks like the red "live" feeds into the back of position 12.. I will get photos tomorrow to confirm - Thanks for your assistance Lukey
  17. Also, the relay and fuse diagrams don't show the "extra" relay. whats it for?
  18. Which relay Lukey?' date=' the one hanging out? if so its a [b']53
  19. I am going to replace the HT leads and spark plugs next. If still no spark,is there a way of checking the coil pack?
  20. Link to video 2 Any help will be greatly appreciated
  21. Alrighty then!! Been out in the garage and checked a few things. We have fuel! On ignition the pump buzzes and fuel comes out of the feed to the rail. It has an aftermarket immobiliser fitted and uses a keyfob to arm and disarm. It operates the central locking and alarm. I turn the immobiliser off and I get dash lights etc. I then turn the ignition and the engine turns over. But no spark I have taken 2 vids from both inside the car and in the engine bay. Will get links to the YouTube page as soon as I can. I don't have access to a vag com so can't check for faults. What can the lack of spar
