    Hi all, I wonder if I could get some advice on the following issue from the great people out there! :-) My instrument cluster lighting has suddenly stopped working. When I turn on the lights the speedo, dials etc will light up and then instantly go out!?? I have checked the fuse and it's good and eben change the light switch module to no avail. Any ideas peeps?     Good question!! I have Virgin Media and it would cost me an extra £22 per month to have the F1 channel - sod that. Guess I'll have the stick to BBC's extended highlights and avoid hearing the results before it airs!

    Hi all, It looks as if though I may have to replace the immobiliser pickup coil on my VR6. I have removed the steering column surround and it looks dead easy to remove the actual reader from around the ignition barrel. However the cable going into it is hard wired so will need to be disconnected from whatever it's plugged into....my question is, what is the pickup coil connected to and where is it? Thanks, Dan

    Morning all, Fitted the new splitter yesterday and it looks a treat! Was it straightforward...well no! The old splitter just kept breaking when I tried pulling it off despite doing my best to lift the retaining clips - this left a very awkward ridge of plastic within the bumper recess. So armed with long nosed pliers and after much swearing and shredded fingers I managed to remove the old splitter. I'm glad to report that the new splitter that Nat recommended fitted perfectly and the front end of the car looks much smarter :-) Cheers, Dan

    Bumper off, really? What sort of a job is that? The replacement splitters I'be got are from eBay, Joms from Germany. Do you reckon they might be rubbish and shite to fit?

    Morning all! I managed to rip the drivers side front splitter off my VR6 this morning inc. the air ramp. I've managed to find a replacement on ebay this morning and have decided to replace both sides as both were faded, cracked and knackered. Question is: Is it a fairly easy job? I had a quick look this morning and as far as I can tell it's just clips that hold them on. However, they seem a bit of a bind to unclip and I'm scared stiff of breaking the bumper. Anyone got any tips on removal including the best tools to use? :-) Thanks, Dan

    Right mate, here's the measurements: To centre of the arch, 650mm To front sill, 220mm To rear sill, 180mm That's on standard shocks and springs and original BBS alloys mate.

    Thanks mate, very nice when that happens, especially for the wallet. The pampering has started....she's been scrubbed inside and out and treated to a good wax (thankfully had a dry weekend for the first time in what feels like ages!) Oh and had a new panel filter fitted too :-)
