  1. no to much water in them for condensation. Supprised there arn't fish swimming in them. have you got a set. are mk4 ones the same?
  2. Hey guys, on my thirds set f crystal side repeaters for my mk3. They keepfilling with water whenever i wash my car. Very fustrating. They are the later oval type repeaters. I still have my wheel arch liners installed to. I think they are just poor quality items. How can you fit genuine mk4 items to the mk3 are they straight swap?
  3. still got the hella all red rears? are these street legal, pass mot etc
  4. yeah will be safe because as you say the weight of the car is sitting on it. then the top caps and top bolt ( the one that is spinning) hold it all together. Test drive it. Listen for any irregular noise though. just incase, but confident your all good.
  5. Im no mechanic but fairly handy DIYer, fitted suspension kits and coilovers on three different cars. I personally didnt worry to much about torquing up the top mount nut, give it a light blast with impact wrench but not mega tight you may want to remove it one day. Basically because the piston spins the not will never work its way lose. not really sure about your first problem, when you say you can pull off the top mount after it has been tightened down do you just mean the rubber cone that makes contact with the shell of the car?
  6. first time i have added pics, so hope it works
  7. Im running a jetex stainless system.Still got the original cat.fitted and it sounds great. Not to loud. However there are two options when you buy a jetex. You can either buy the 3 silencer system or the 2 silencer system. I went for the three silencer system. One word of warning, if your planing on lowering your car excessively the exhaust can catch on the rear beam. this is due to it being a 2.5" pipe A small bit of adjustment, some powerflex exhaust hangers and a little dent in the problem area and no interference at all.
