    I'll be dynoing the car after the exhaust etc but before the cam and chip, will give you the results, I'm intrigued now. already got the induction kit and 6 branch, so they're going on anyway.

    Can you tell me then, why most peeps puts on race manifolds, decats and systems if they dont do much? A standard VR6 sounds sweet, noise wise anyway.

    The tweeters were mounted in the dash where the existing speaker holes are, I didn't fit them, Shop did, that way if anything went/goes wrong I can say Oi fix it!!!!!! think they just connected to standard cables at the mo, We're changing all the cabling when we fit the amps.........cant wait!!!!!!

    Good advice about the mileage, I find I do less than I thought I would on my bike, but more in my car, well the Audi anyway as wifey keeps going to London to see Grandson...................

    Just had JL Audio component speakers fited to front doors of my VR, £176 fitted, having some rear JL Audio's fitted, not components though, £100 fitted, then gonna Amp both sets plus sub later. Running an Alpine head unit thats 4 x 60watts so it's quite powerful in its own right. But speakers will benefit from amping

    Fraid so!!!! also gonna be doing the inlet manifold. Got a spare upper manifold, need to get the lower one so I can polish it on the outside, and flow the inside. Also need to get a spare throttle body to do the same...Gonna be my winter project!!!!!!!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrr

    Is that comp or tpft? Also have you got limited mileage? Finally is is as a daily driver?

    Right, I've made up my mind on what performance mods I'm gonna do to my current VR. As it's gonna be my daily driver, I'm not going to daft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Start with I'm going to fit an Induction kit (done) a 6 branch manifold, Cat back exhaust (probably Miltex) Sport cat, maybe a decat pipe. Then I'm going to polish (flow) the throttle body, and the inlet manifold. Then I'll put in some Schimel 263 cams (on majority recomendations) and get a remap. Finally I'm gonna put on some power pulleys and a lightened/balanced Flywheel. What sort of gains do you all think this will give, and how driveab

    Did you also insure it as a classic with an agreed value?

    I've always found that the specialist just don't seem to be able to compete. I'm insured through LV. As a second car with 9 yrs no claims..........

    Have you checked all your fuses? Spray some water replant oil, ie wd40 or the like ,around the ecu and the fuse box, then check for a spark. But check your fuses first.
