    been offered some wheels bargain price there the six spoke audi tt wheels 17 inch lad said et is 42 but i always thought these wheels were et 32 as standard to be honest, basically the wheels are 225/45/17 , lad said they rubbed slightly on inner rear arch but didnt damage tyre etc, please tell me they will fit got him down to wicked price cheers

    driving home from work 3am this mornin pouring down with rain , dual carriageway saturated, went through quite a bit of water at speed on one part of road were it had built up, and all of a sudden experienced massive vibration while in gear, put foot down and car banged like mis fire, then every time i accelerated there was hardly any power very low response, got on to my estate car back fired again then one minute there was power under pedal then none felt like someone pushing car back, drove it round then it all cleared up , car responsive again and all power back, question is what happened

    have got new sensor now, told company it was playin up so got new one now, also picking up genuine ring from vw tomorrow so there both goin on tomorrow so fingers crossed now! Some how dont hold out hope though it never seems to want to be fixed!

    right got on my mates vag com code is for left rear sensor again and outside parameters left rear, al though its new sensor? Noticed when i re fitted abs ring /rotor it sat flush apart from a small part that was slightly raised could this be giving dodgy reading or is it im just unlucky and have another dodgy sensor , ideas?

    everything plugged in ignition on engine not running just get no response from controller coming up, i know everythin works cos my mate has proper vag com that connects fine , NIGHTMARE!

    got this lead put disc in pc installed etc, plugged in usb pc recognised new soft ware and installed, plugged lead into car ran test etc found inter face etc, but when i go to abs it tries to do somethin then says module not found , what am i doing wrong anyone

    oh right what car did u use it on spoke to others with mk3 s etc they all said was ok for checking and clearing faults etc just couldnt use all other features etc?

    seen these leads with discs on ebay, there for 8.99, they use sharewere tech available from ross tech , seen plenty of people buy them for golfs etc and said all is fine, obviously with the share were version u dont get everythin but i only want it for code readin and clearin which it does, just wanted opinions, money back guarantee so not much risk, uk seller

    thinkin pump again my self put one in once used i must admit but still guttin! Wil have to get codes read asap, so annoying just as i sort it 2 ,3 days later light on again with new problem!

    anyone please? Still not managed to scan codes etc, put light continuosly on now and happens loads when i brake pedal shakes at me even tho its dry !

    i have had abs problems since i can remember, car is late 96 p reg abs is late teves 20 eds set up standard when car was built, started with continous rhs rear sensor fault eventually put it down to dodgy abs ecu had it re soldered and put new sensor on rhs rear cos wire snapped all was ok, then days later got fault for lhs rear so changed sensor, this worked for a bit but then light back on at first could re start engine drive off and it would clear but now its continous not had chance to get rescanned for faults yet suppose when i do will know more but question for now is when driving normal

    they look hubcentric will find out though, dont know how much clearance hard to get it right with tape measure 15-20mm looks to fit but as i say hard to tell

    1H0927807A 1H0927807D there are two part numbers down for your year they are above, ring a vw dealer get through to parts once they have your vin they will assist further but these two numbers will get the ball rolling hope this helps

    hi i have a golf vr6 currently running 17,s 205/40/17 et 42 question is want to space the back wheels seen a set of 20mm spacers with longer bolts each spacer 20mm, will these be ok to fit or will it cause problems thanks in advance
