    where is the best pace to buy a cat and lambda sensor?? its a AAA 1994 engine if that helps to point me in the direction. :-) also ive searched for cats and there seems to be 2x types why is that?

    it cranks fine, as said it was very spluttery when it started.

    basically had this problem the other day, golf vr6 took a long time to start in the cold the other day and when it did fire up it was a bit spluttery, but after a minute or so it was running perfect. it was -8 at the time though! also yesterday i stalled the car after driving it for about a minute, and again took a lot of cranking to get it running again! but most times in the cold it starts fine!! :-) any ideas?

    can you put reserve in an auction if there is a day left as i didnt add a reserve? cant be bothered to relist for another 10 days. tried to do it but cant figure it out if you can?

    yes they do thermostat is fine. its the guage thats the problem.

    hi guys the temperature guage in my car only goes up to 70 degrees and no higher, i thought it was a temp sender problem in the thermostat housing so i changed both of the senders and the gauge still only reads up to 70 and no higher, any other ideas what is wrong?

    seems only VW can supply this seal for the thermostat, well i phoned them and they couldnt find the seal?? so has anyone got the VW part number and ill phone them to order it up!

    great there is no garage near my house! used to be in beckenham but it was knocked down!

    got a spare thermostat as ive got to take mine off, did VW do a seal here circled in red,its the part that faces the head. motor factors dont stock them or cant find the part. regards

    thanks mate, its a 1992 vr6 with a 1994 triple AAA engine thats converted to running dizzy. would the temp sensor be an issue?

    cool well its just passed the MOT so i doubt lambda. where is the maf sensor located? nat - car is running fine and not holding back etc, just smells a bit rich.

    filed my tank up full to the brim and have been driving the car like a granny to see what i get to a tank, looks like im going to get about 200 miles before i run out. its just passed the MOT so i presume the emmisions are ok. many thanks.
