    Just bought a sodding regulator and motor (driverside) for the vr and have found part of the plastic parts of the clip are snapped off and also the plastic part that grabs on to the wire is on its way out! went to vw 2day to see if they had a clip and they dont, only the regulator for 80quid (sod that) jus wandered if u can actually buy these clips seperate or if any1 has any spare they wanna sell? its on the rail with the motor on it. cheers.

    ok dude, il take ur word for it lol my car is in no means perfect condition atm due to job loss but paint work comes up a treat so i suppose itl b ok, as long as every1s car isnt in perfect condition and mines gnna stick out like a sore thumb then im game

    well my m8 in the end put a t joint in a took it str8 to the bottom of the bay and into a filter purely bcos the can was stinking his car out with all the shite it was creating, hense giving it to me.

    ahhh ok cheerss dude! And thanks for the pic, yes it was more the fact that i was given a pretty decent one and 1- im startin to make the bay luk a bit more appealable and 2 im extremely bored and wanted to fill time by fitting it lol does it not get quite a lot of shit out of ur oil, a mate has 1 on his a3 20vt remap and said the amount of shit it collected was unbelievable. quite new to the motor scene so im just taking in as much info as i can so i may be wrong.

    hi people, jus wandering if any1 can tell me where to tap in for the oil catch can, i can see the filter but cant realli see the pipe to tap on to??? if any1 has a rough idea or some pics that wud be awesome. cheers!

    Theres always the octavia vrs tail pipe, kinda oval but more hexagon if u know wat i mean, not quit so chavy as oval. depends what u like reli.

    Hahaha is that without spacers? back coilies arnt to bad on vr's are they? i no on the mk4s the coils are seperate so you have to jack the whole of the back up and do both at the same time. mite just be me....

    Rite sorry to keep posting but im on an info overload and loving it lol jus bort a second hand scorpion system to gt me by for the moe. 1.-can i get a decat for this and if i was to get remap wud it help? 2.- has anybody used henstead motorsport? they are offering a remap for 200 quid. 3.- What bhp am i expecting with exhaust system (with or without cat) filter and map? cheers chaps n chapettes! Any before anybody says, i know a turbo or charger is the answer but just havent got the money for that at the moe so am after a cheap upgrade :-d

    mine doent buzz either i have a 1998 highline, thort it was maybe standard without one. never even thort it could be a fault lol. i want one now dammit!!

    ahh nice, having epic problems with my tt comps at moe. scraped my old alloys as 1 had a flat spot from potholes, bort these second hand and i have exactly the same problem. reli sucks running on an old a3 spare after a while lol. was gnna get sumthing a bit more stretched than 195 40 17's but mite just be me but theyr wierdly hard to get hold of! bad times.

    do you really need 5 grand????? shit my pants, i was thinking more along the lines of 3......thats my hopes and dreams outa the window lol or can it be made cheaper if ur not looking for such a power upgrade, not such a harsh map therefore maybe not needing to upgrade asmuch? i was under the impression you dont get to serious with upgrades untill the 300bhp mark?

    Wanting to buy a new strut brace for the back of my vr but now wandering weather i can use this as a bar for hrnesses? the only strut braces i seem to find are the ones that bolt on to the side of the body work. just wandered if they did one that gos on top of the suspension mounts like the front or am i just being stupid and just have to buy a front one and put it in the back? Just not reli wanting 2 bars in the back of my car. Anyways if any1 has any ideas let me know! cheers guys n girls.:-d
