    i am thinking of getting a mk2 golf as second car as hopefully if i get a placement i shall be starting a mechanics apprenticeship soon. unfortunately will havve to take te vr off the road tho, insuranc for me on a driver is about 350 fully comp which for a 21 year old isnt to bad. just a struggle getting a nice one for the money. mk2's are soooo expensive!!

    definately high if your 27!i found confused was awfull, i would go on money supermarket, get our best price nd then ring them up or go on theyr site, i dot no weather its true but iv hard that the insurance sites pay the comparison sites money to make theyr deals the best ones, if that maks any sence. its best to go to the insurers personally.

    ha ha ha in all honesty i-phones are good, its just everybody has them and i wanted something different, but ur right the apps are poo on the market place. Scared of downoading anything of tinterweb incase it messes up my phone

    Ahhh this thread turned out a lot better than i thought it would rreally nice to see the cars people have owned other than the vr I thought the crash in my astra was pretty bad as that rolled a few times but that 205 is in anothr league!! suprised ur still alive after that! lol

    yes, altho it spent most of its time at the garage i have to admit, handling wise was sooo fun, had a lot of good times in the middle of the night on roundabouts, flicking the back out lol, they had passive rear wheel steering to which was awsome haha.

    A 306.....My worst nightmare, had the 1.4 as a first car, bout it for 1200, me being an idiot and t the time having no clue on fixing anything myself, spent a further 1400 in parts and labour at the garage to constantly get the thing fixed! worst year of my life!

    the missus dad owns an HF, has been tinkered with slightly, hes now stripping, making the bodywork pristine and putting back together, im guessing thatl be worth a few bob when finished. not sure how this wud perform against a charged vr?
