Hi, does any body have the dimensions or a drawing of rear mount for mk2 conversion? Also do you think billet aluminium would be suitable or heat treated mild steel?
I've been told before that I can be quite a hard person to know!!! And have also had it pointed out to me that I can be quite negative towards people. I have no filter between what the brain thinks and what the mouth says!!(or the fingers type) I really don't mean to be as negative as I have and can be and will try to refrain from this in future. I only want the best for the club and all members and will try to reflect this in any future posts/ Chris
If you drill a 5.2/3 mm hole down the centre of the snapped bole then run a m6 left hand tap down the hole you just drilled find a m6 bolt and screw into place, as the bolt tightens you should be able to loosen the broken one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RDGTOOLS-M6-x-1-0-LEFT-HAND-TAPS-6MM-SPECIAL-/290435648729 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-Pcs-5-2mm-Black-Gold-Tone-Spur-Twist-Drill-Tool-Bit-/190463796451?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item2c5886e4e3#ht_2091wt_1139
Hi mate, Ive had a similar problem, What I done and it worked a treat was used a piece of blue nylon rope and a good squirt of cif. Cif in the hole and then kinda rotated the rope in the hole.
