    Yeah have managed it now, done it yesterday by undoing the bolt that hold the mechanism to the car n just liftin the whole lot up lol :-)

    We have success!!! Turns out u can undo the two bolts that hold the mechanism to to car and then lift the bonnet complete with the mechanism..... Bit of fiddelin to get the mech unhooked but all is well again :-)

    I fill up after about 230 miles, don't trust the gauge as heard some vr's can run out when 1/4 is still indicated...... Scared to go below 1/4 now lol

    Right I got the grill off.... Damage free but I just can't release the bonnet, I don't really know what I'm doin, can really see much. I've had a screwdriver in there but nothin has happened Has anyone got a pic of the mechanism?

    I need a pic of how the Bonnet release cable connects to the bonnet catch, think I put mine bk together wrong when refitting my front end and now I can't get my bonnet open but when I finally do I want somethin to compare it too Thanks Ian

    My fave so far (out of the 5 I've had) Handled like a go cart, was fairly quick for 2L 8v but was also economical lol Do miss her cornering ability :-(

    On venom all h&r one are £150 a pair so wouldnt save any money that way lol

    Not sure on the thinkness' yet, still gotta work that out properly, on venom I looked at the FK ones their £75 a pair

    Or did u mean if vag bore was smaller? Vag is 57.1 and merc is 66.6.... And I can get spiggots those exact dimensions

    Ok I'll put this simply save any confusion I have merc wheels so need adapters Merc adapters= £300ish (unless I get custom) Vag adapters= £150 But I was thinkin I could just get the new vag range adapters that are the same pcd only difference is the center bore.... But i thought I could just get some spigot rings n it works out the same So am I bein stupid or will that work?? Thanks
