hi all please be carefull driving around now that the snow has gone coz as i found out yesterday just one bad pot hole can almost end it all. I went over a foot deep pot hole outside waitrose in Hitchin on friday last week and my steering felt a bit dodgy afterwards so i took the car to a mechanic friend who took it out for a spin and came back to me and said that i feels like i've knocked the tracking out of line but i do need two front tyres, So yesterday i took myself off to the tyre place and while the guy had the car up in the air i asked him if i could have a shake about to see if there

right here's what i've done so far, The car was trying to stall and sometimes did even after long drives, and the revs were fluctuating badly. So ive cleaned the maf sensor, all air intake tubes, the trottle body and the isv, there was also a makeshift oil catch tank that i have also removed and replaced the breather pipe from the engine to the air intake tube just before the trottle body. I've noticed since doing all this there isn't as much smoke on initial start up as there was before which is nice and the car doesnt want to stall and the revs seem not to fluctuate any more BUT It now feel

I've just been quoted £35.99 for a set of locking wheel nuts for my VR from Halfrauds. Am I just being tight or are there cheeper places to get them from ?

hi all Happy new year Last night i took a few trips up and down the motorway for a mate, while we were on the road we turned the heat down in the car and we heard a flapping noise then the heater went freezing. The dirrection of the blowers have allways been dodgy and have been blowing out of every hole since i've had it which doesnt bother me but if i move the dirrection dial you can hear something is amiss behind my dash. So now i have two settings on my heater really hot or bloody freezing, there is no inbetween. Water temp is fine No water in side the car. But under excelleration even with

well I've finally worked out where the oil leak is coming from (well i hope i have),, as the oil filter housing and alternator and more or less the whole of the front of the engine is covered with wet oil i can only assume its the rocker cover gasket, I'm not an engine guy as most of you are probably aware now, my fortae is body work and trim. Would this leak be causing my lack of power as I'm assuming the leak will make the oil pressure go down hill ? Cheers John
