  1. Im a bit stuck with my conversion, I need to know where the pipe goes to that comes from the inlet manifold and goes to the brake servo. I know one of the take-offs goes to a sensor, but i have another take off that i dont know where to put. Any pics or advise would but much appreciated Cheers Mat
  2. Also where does the the breather pipe go to that is located on the back of the cylinder head?
  3. where does the other end of that pipe go? not the rocker cover side?
  4. Is there any difference between the OBD1 and OBD2 MAF's. If so are they easy to tell apart?? Cheers
  5. Milltek ones come with an extension if its needed
  6. Im just doing this now and after speaking to a few places that have done the conversion the answer is yes. You need all of the loom that runs in the engine bay back to the fuseboard and also the antenna, transponder and ecu if its obd2. Apparently its easier if both cars or of the same OBD
  7. Cheers russ. Your car looks alot like mine as it goes with the quads lol
  8. I need to know this too and also what differences it will make cheers
  9. Sorry about the stupidly large pics guys. Ill have some more pics of the engine removed tomorrow when i find my camera lead
  10. Obviously the next port of call was the suspension for which i got hold of a set of v-max coilovers which tbh arn't the best in the world but they do the job for the time being. Fitting pics . . .. .. .. .. . . . As you can see it was a little low and i had to wind it up a wee bit
  11. Well i finally made the 16v go pop so i decided it was about time to bite the bullet and for VR6 power. The car started off as a pretty standard metallic black 3 door. The car itself was in fairly good nick, albeit with a badly painted passengerside front wing and Audi A3 alloys. I picked it up for a bargain as it also needed the immobilser working out, a new battery and a power steering pump. I sorted the immobilser whilst i was there and took the battery and PAS pump from my old 16v. Oncei got home i realised that in the boot were a pair of almost brand new Hella Quads. I set about changing
  12. iv got one in mine. i held it in place with velcro on the back and 2 protruding screws on the top which catch onto the cover panel to stop it falling forward
