10k?!?? That would buy and run a decent VR for a year INCL. insurance..... James go sit on the naughty step for 5! Yeah but that would of meant getting a loan, at a stupid rate of APR meaning id pay more over a longer period. And when i commute to clients it would cost an utter fortune!! -

it doesnt matter how much the ol companies charge, its the tak that hits us most. take the tax away and its less than half of what we pay now. attack the government and not the oil companies. Unfortunately they do rule the market, theres nothing to say that tomorrow every oil company raises its prices to £2 a litre, plus the tax your looking at £4 a litre of fuel. what could you do about it but succomb and pay up or not drive? i paid £1.32 a litre at a Murco garage the other day for diesel, fucking ridiculous

DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

^^Thats jsut it, I dont see how it could work?? surely the staellite would have to track the vehicle in-conjuction with a land based camera ready to take the picture? seems crap to me lol
-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/news...rom-space.html not only could they track any given road at any given time, you wouldnt even know they were doing it until the letter passed dropped through your door. Although i am confused about their claim of "works in all weather 24 hours a day", correct me if im wrong but surely a camera couldnt work through thick cloud/fog??? Makes you wonder how long it will be before everytime someone wants a good "blast" they put fake plates on? or worse drive without plates at all?

cant get it below £1500 anywhere, which for a car i plan to strip and practically make it worthless and then to only drive it 5/6 times a year doesnt make financial sense. Was gunna get a weekend car and motorbike, but will stick with the motorbike for now

£2k via performance direct for 1500 miles witha VR6 on a classic policy!!!! scrapping this idea pronto lol

Hey Guys, Im thinking of buying either a 16v gti or VR6 on the super duper cheap, stripping and having for occasional summer fun and keeping in dry store rest of the time. But i cant really afford to insure a second car, can you get a seasonal or limited mileage insurance policy? would do no mroe than 1000 miles a year at a guess, Ive got a lexus IS220d as my daily and insurance on that is quite high, but want a fun car aswell ;-)

^^ Probably well worth it mate
