    EXHAUST

ive got the scorpion backbox still £50 fits onto oem pipework too,its not really loud tho :S
  5. i would say the air flow was flucked anyway then, and has just decided to give u even more grief, get another, cus u will notice the difference,in fuel too,
  6. very unliky it would cause prob? or very unlikely it wouldnt? :S
  7. well im driving a heap of a £300 mk2 gti atm on its last legs, and funnily enough the air flow meter on that was crap, but i adjusted it and was suprised by the results:) shame u cant do this on the vr6 i will get the use out of the mk2 first whats still got 6 months mot, then hopefully i will have saved enough to get a nice vr,and i just thought does your vr feel any slower with the air flow meter off compared to when u had air-box on etc?
  8. i will spk up,lol it is a dry k&n filter and was on mine for about 6-7 months (roughly) with no problems at all,all i can think off is that the air flow meter is shot.i dunno weather its because of the filter or not,but i had 1 on my old vr6 what never gave me no problems either, what i would do if i was you is look for a second hand original vw air flow meter, sos if the filter caused the problem,i would be very suprised if it did tho, good luck and heres a link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Golf-Vento-Corrado-VR6-Air-Flow-Meter-/200524507457?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2eb0
  9. lol yep totally agree! and good luck with the next jobs.
  10. i aint sure what they are like mate, the toyo`s or yokos`s are both decent tyres tho, worth the extra i would say personally,as tyres are overall 1 of the most important things,(in my eyes anyway, lol)
  11. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Yokohama-S-Drive-195-45-16-Performance-Tyres-Pair-/170483364673?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&hash=item27b199b341#ht_1010wt_1244 i had these not so long back,i loved the grip they gave,,and just look on ebay ive found there cheaper than all the tyre places by me! the same tyres from the place near me added up to £340 fitted! i saved £100 altogether.
  12. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1955015-195-50VR15-TOYO-T1-R-SET-FOUR-TYRES-/150487808968?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&hash=item2309c5bbc8#ht_500wt_1154 i know there 195`s but hey they still fit and for that price you cant go wrong (presuming u have standard wheels)lol
  13. omfg i hate heights, jelly legs! why dont they use a helicopter? great post btw
  14. hi,just at my mates his corrado has no leads on it.and i cant remember where the leads fit onto the coilpacki am baffled at the moment, any help or diagrams would be great, cheers
  15. i found that funny:) but its probs some health problem that was the actual cause of it :S
  16. lol, like the thread;) well my opinion on this is they are a performance car for decent money, ive been neck and neck with a focus rs(old shape) beat type r`s lost to type r`s,neck and neck with my mates mk4 gttdi(200bhp) even beat subaru`s (not the 270bhp tho) although i think if i wanted i was quicker in my mk2 gti,i just used to love chuckin it into islands etc,lol (oops) my conclusion is for a 180ish bhp car a vr6 is a good car with lovely sound loads of grunt and super reliable. PS I DONT THINK THE PEOPLE WHO SLATE THEM OFF HAVE EVER HAD 1 OR BEEN IN 1,THEY ARE PROBABLY THE 1S WHOS GOT SMO
  17. yes 18s would look massive on a mk3 i think 17s do tbh but if you can get it sitting right bbs ch`s will also look classic on a mk3
  18. ive done it before on my fiesta si(first csr) and it turned out ok tbf.prepping is always the tough part i find.if it aint gone past the flat line on the arch just mask of to there(all around arch) i dont mind doing it as long as there is a line that will make the join of paint hard to see,so the bit on the bottom of the doors personally i would do the whole bottom of the door(upto behind the bump strip. but every1 is differant, have a practise but before you do go and get a quote of a chipsaway dealer as they are suprisingly cheaper than i thought they would be,there the dogs and do a top job
  19. my abs had a pump fault aswell as sensors fault, last winter the light was sometimes on and sometimes off,and in the snow i DID notice the abs didnt work(soo close),lol but to be honest i bloody hate abs,i wish they never fitted it! but i would take a guess at the pump myself although you need to get it vag-com`d to be sure
  20. im lucky enough to have never had 1 go off on me,,i was in my mates a-reg fiesta when he rolled it,it didnt even have headrests nevermind airbags, lol but i didnt think they would be so savage! ive heard ov ppl getting burns off them but i didnt think they would break ya nose!
  21. as much as there idiots it was funny,,shame the roof wasnt a bit lower
