    Had exactly the same problem with my 8v, but it only happened every now and again. Had an auto leccy look at it and he said it might be the imobiliser. Never got round to repairing it though...

    Apparently, speed cameras and ANPR have trouble logging plates that appear genuine. So, font changes must be impossible for them. Not that that concerns anyone |-)

    If your doing short, slow journeys into town then the mpg is terrible. But on the open road, long distance journeys the mpg is pretty good I've noticed. 150k km (93k miles) is nothing as well. I'd get one Paul while you're still young and no commitments. You won't be sorry!

    As far as I can tell resonated is quieter than non-resonated. What's the difference?

    Which looks least chavvy for a MK3 Golf, the twin 80mm tail pipes or the 2" oval one? I'm almost certain I'll get the twin, as the other one reminds me of the bean can style you see on Corsas, Fiestas, etc. What do you think? If anyone has any photos to use for comparison that would be great!

    Oops! The sellers asked me for measurements and everything. I've told him what wheels I need to fit to what car and it seems to be okay so far. May be he does both spacers and adapters? Nevermind ay. I'll just get the H&R ones from venom if all goes to pot!

    Hey people, just got some great looking bbs wheels off egay. I'm just stuck about finding the right wheel adapters though. The car is 5/100 I believe and the wheels are 5/120. I've seen your recommendations on previous posts such as H&R, but where do you get them? Cheers!

    I want to get my VR6 lowered. I've managed to find someone to fit the springs for me but I have to source the parts.
