    this is why i love this engine, standard lump except spacer plate and arp head bolts and it puts up with 400bhp?!! im still a ford boy at heart but my zetec turbo melted its standard pistons at 180 bhp! dont think i'll be modding any more fords lol

    could jus be the fluid, it does absorb moisture over time and make em spongy or wooden. i would check pads and discs too, tho wouldnt worry about much else with 63k on the clock tho......mines done 167k and its all still good.

    same here mate, seems very very wooden on mine coming down from speed. how many miles u done? im putting mine down to needed a good fluid change.....

    as above really, done a quick search but not really getting conformation i need........ is it 15", ET43, 7J ??? are the highline and the normal vr sizes the same? i.e the lattice sorta ones and the solitudes? wot size is the gti?

    see, driving about in my vr im really really happy with it, the noise, even the power from my pretty much standard engine....................... .............then i see this and my mind starts going and i start browsing ebay..... .....then my mrs goes nuts as we have a wedding to pay for! its all ur fault! damn u! nice car btw

    yea the exhaust is the dogs' date=' no horrible drone but sounds nice up the revs. only put 2 boxes in - still thinking decat tho lol. cant complain bout induction kit neither cheers mate! give it a good clean and a re-oil. cheers mate i'll do em smaller next time. it drives ok, jus can get bit bouncy on the motoway. higher the speed the worse it gets......does anyone kno wot spring rates ebay specials are? might get some proper stiff springs from leda or demon tweeks. would that help or is it dampers making ir bouncy? do ya want one? made it at work. wot i did was undo the front mount bolt,

    well, thought id sort the cooler leak the other day..........and yup the crack pipe broke! my mate 'lending' a hand broke it and the look of horror on his face was funny enough not to make me angry haha. but had to sort it as its my daily drive and i have to get to work................ i managed to bodge this by tapping the resulting hole, and threading some stainless tube, lots of locktight skinned nuckles and shit loads of swearing! so far so good! but will still get one of these soonish http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?29073.post had a look at the leak on the sum

    yea i was gonna get it from under mate, with my arms i'd need 6 elbows to do it from top lol yea i kno wot u mean..........and yea thinking bout it it would make it so much easier. thats wot i was fretting over, getting seals in right, but if i take it off and have it infront of me should be ok...see how it goes monday. cheers pal!
