136k here, Startinf to get a bit fed up!!!! cant find a box close to home been out in it today and the box is starting to sound BAd all the cogs are bouncing about at the bottom of the box i think!!!! just want it sorted!!!!!

Nice to see it back dude, i had a focus and sum1 bumped into me and they gave me a 1.0 auto micra i was also VERY upset, It also loved the juice! -

i do 1 mile to work 1 mile back i get it up2 20mpg withing 1 mile but thats like 2000 rp change if not lower. ITS JUST NOT FUN HAAHA

Yeah agrred on the "do it yourself" thing. But it depends on how much you drive your car, I drive 2 miles a day normally, but if you drive 30 mile a day yeah it will cost more faster, If you get me drift

rattle in 1st but now der seems to be a constant rattle. My clutch seems nice but it always jerks in 1st gear when i pull away i thought that was gonna be down to the tooth off the cog in 1st gear? Ahhh my heads all over!!!!!

Ok so i know for a fact i need a gear box. Everyone is saying i should change my clutch at the same time evan tho it was done 10 month ago, What i would like to know is if der is anythin els i shud be looking to change when i have the clutch and box out?? And what would i expect to pay for a second hand box and new clutch kit? Cheers

i just bought my vr a few weeks ago. Just got in from a little drive im getting a little pissed off but really i shudnt be by the sound of you guys! Bought the VR £800 HARD life tho! needed serviced and all the breaks changed inc discs that cost 300 new bonnet and bumper wing and half the car sprayed 400, Now i think i need a gear box ive got that dodgy sound when i drive in 1st like a stick running down a fence! II cant get a box from newcastle and the 1 i can get the guy was like "Yeah £250" and he didnt evan know the miles on in. Then i wud have to get it fitted probs with a new clutch 2

Im 22 but i have a trader policy was 1500 last year "My 1st year" Now they want 1300 for this year thats third party only BUt i can jump into most things and be legal. ONly 5 cars they dont want me in can only remember a few mr2 turbo scoobi M3 2 others. Apart from them i can drive anythin under 20k i think

Yeah i just changed, All discs and pads, all the oils drail changed incl gear oil. all the filters not sure what to do about the air filter, I bought the original air box, but not sure to put it on. WOW 31 mpg?> i struggle to get 20 :|
