  1. Awesome weekend guys. Great to see the usual suspects and some new faces too. Brilliant turnout and standard of cars was great too!! Glad everyone had a good time. Roll on action.
  2. Yeah. I'm having this exact problem. It's a nightmare, but pat did say check fuse (wasn't that) or the connections on back of fuse box but I haven't had chance to check that. Will do tomorrow. If I fix it I'll let you know what it was.
  3. i get about 230-250 miles on average out of a tank.... when doing a couple of long journeys over a tank i got 280 but that's about it. lol
  4. Tony ill meet you at Birchanger at 9.30
  5. the bonnets are real easy to remove by the way but you will need an extra pair of hands to help.
  6. if not try Rimar Salvage Ltd Railway St Grimsby DN32 7DA Tel: 01472 345087 dunno how far from you that is?
  7. Yeah mate, you're going to struggle to get that shut, get onto the local breakers, there is always mk3s in them, should only be about £20-30 for a decent bonnet, its the easiest way, same with sunroof.
  8. It makes me feel ashamed to be English, our grandfathers and their parents fought f**king hard to keep this country our own and look at it now, youths running riot because they think the world owes them something.. its seriously disturbing to think of how this is all going to go in a few years to come when THEY are the grandparents, what example have they set, the next generations have no chance. Disgraceful and upsetting. We should be going in with a zero tolerance hard handed approach to show them this is not going to carry on, but as always we'll stand dancing on the sidelines too scared

  14. I would only go to ET30 if you don't want to roll arches. I have slightly stretched tyres on my ET15s and arch work to get them to fit. My ET30s were ok though without stretch or arch work.
  15. Ive gotta say guys ive just made a few calls and its worth shopping around... Im sure each situation is different but this time i have had to go with Sky Insurance... I am now 26 with 9 years no claims and no convictions. My VR has a massive A4 sheet of modifications inc a full colour change respray, wheels, suspension etc and all of that is covered too like for like, fully comp, protected no claims.... All for £420 with Sky Adrian Flux quoted £465 and Chris Knott couldn't even get close so didn't quote me.
  16. well i am running 16s (7.5" wide) that are ET15. My car is lowered a lot and the arches had to be rolled... but previous to that i ran 17s (7.5" wide) that were ET30 and not quite as low as i am now and had no worries.
  17. I'm surprised they fell for that as no one had wrist bands?
  18. Might as well send it back and get a refund.
