  1. Well you can always have a semi naked pic of my bf if you do prefer?! ;) lmao
  2. What about a members section??!! ;) lol
  3. Bloody hell Jim boy you did do that on a tight budget!!! 1500??!! Thanks for the advice.... i personally think he would be happy with something towards the 400bhp mark that is reliable and could be used as his daily if he wanted to. He has got a daily runner, but i reckon the second he sits in a vr, then a turbo vr he will never wanna get out of it!! So thats the main thing really, getting a reliable 400 ish bhp and doing it using the right stuff and not bodging it. oh and jim dont forget me and my coillies will ya?! They're doin my head in sat in my garage just teasing me!!!
  4. Ok ill get a bit more info on what it is he is looking for and what he wants to get out of it. Thanks for your help, ill be back in a few days for some more tips. :)
  5. yeah, thats what i kinda said, glad ive got you old Kev, seen a lot of ur posts and u know what ur talkin about!! hahaha i said id reckin at least 3 grand to do it properly and he didnt seem to mind too much, can you list what he'd need.... turbo, cams, etc anything else that needs changing pwwwease.... :)
  6. hi ya guyyyyys!! ive got a mate who has completely fallen in love with my gorgeous VR and now wants one of his own as i went from havin the slowest car of the group to the fastest!! woop woop!! But he wants to go one better and get one to then stick a turbo on it, so i was wondering on top of buying the car as standard how much would he be looking at to get it all done? he would want to do it properly with decent stuff, not cheap s**t but not top of the range $$$$$. So can you help me out with a rough guide??? Cheers ppl!! :)
  7. Wheels came out good then mate!!! Still think it would look good with darker lights and the black side repeaters just to tie it all together..... Other than that lookin good!!! :)
  8. Ive got this Mac Allister random orbit sander, http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9806482&fh_view_size=10&fh_eds=%3f&fh_location=%2f%2fcatalog01%2fen_GB%2fcategories%3c%7b9372015%7d&fh_search=mac+allister+random+orbit&fh_refview=search&ts=1241511285543&isSearch=false as rotary ones are not so good for novices as they get very hot and its easier to burn the paint when doing it, the random orbit ones dont get so hot so reduce the risk. I have light swirls on mine and will be using AG Super Resin Polish as it has a light cutting actio
  9. Sounds nice and different mate! Look forward to seein the pics!! :)
  10. Oh you can use a wing off a Vento aswell, cuz they are the same...
  11. Well there is Volks apart (tel: 020 8309 6200), they are based down south, but have loads of stuff in stock and can send it out to you, if you can get a good quality mystic blue one then paying for postage will be worth it as you wont need to spray (get them to email pics first though), im down in essex so know a lot of places round this way but not sure about your area im afraid. I have exactly the same as you (mystic blue 97) and my rear arch is just starting to turn so im dealing with it now, it sounds like yours is a bit too late though... Id def have a look for the wing yourself as there
  12. hey, what year is your vr? also what colour? TBH you can get a new wing for about 20 or 30 quid from a scrappy and get it blown over (i would say about 80 quid cuz ive got quoted 80 fror the whole bottom half of the side of my car from under the bump strip, you may even be lucky enough to get a colour match and be able to stick it straight on,,,, as for the rear quarters, its hard to say without seeing how bad they are....
  13. I've got the ones from GSF and they seem to be fine, I cant remember the make now, but they came in a blue box, i was told its only worth getting the Magnecore leads if you have other stuff done to your car, if its standard then there's no point, but im sure others will be along soon to say if this is true or not....
  14. Wicked video guys, looked like great fun!!! Just wish i was there.... maybe one year.... :)

  19. Well Volks apart have one i think for about 70 quid, then the gasket you should be able to pick up from gsf or ecp fairly cheap if you wanted to try and do it yourself.....
