yeah, id go with what gav says, but give it a good sanding down and then stick some Crust on it before you paint it. You can get that from Halfrauds for a few quid and will make sure the rust doesnt get any worse.

Awww thanks guuuys!! I think i will try changing the damping and then getting my bushes fitted, once that is done ill give it a week or two to settle in and hope it gets better, i like it exactly where it is and so far ive had one little srub on a big dip in the road at about 55mph so not bad!! I havent attempted a speed bump yet though, so gonna forget that.... might order a new splitter now for my reserves!! haha.

Yeah, well i do need new bushes, but ive just got new vw ones, should i invest in poly ones instead?? Also my mate has it set to the firmest setting as he wanted it that way so im sure i can soften it off a bit. I think if i do that, and get my bushes sorted (as i know mine are worn) then it will prob be a lot better. I think the drop is at 50mm so if it doesnt improve ill raise it to 40mm i think. Its a mega improvement on the overall look though!!! :)

The car is ok thanks, my mate had the damping set to the hardest setting so i feel a bit bashed about!! 8-) 8-) But ill sort that out later and the abs pump just needs a bit of recoding now, need to find someone with full vag com as vw wanna charge waaaaaaaaaaay to much!! lol Great day though guys and great pics!!!! Ive just realised how small i really look against all you boys!!! (and also how bad my cleaning obsession has got!! :S :$ ) Really does show how great this club is though, i cant imagine many guys prepared to give up a lovely sunny sat to help out fellow car lovers like all y

Hey ppl, Havent had chance to get online since sat, I had a great day thanks to everyone, esp jim and tony for sorting my car and ben for the cookin!! Good man!! My shoulders look burnt to a frazzle still, but well worth it!! :) Just need to sort my damping out as i feel my insides are going to fall apart if i vibrate any more!!! We should have another day like that again soon, im sure everyone has enough things to sort out to fill another day!!! :)

Just called them and they have it in stock 1.5ltr £7.12 +vat. I would get it for ya but i come in from a totally different way to that.

Yeah and i also have a steering wheel that was put on facing 11 o clock that is annoying and my center lights around my heater dials stopped working after i has a new pedal box. So that could be somethin for someone who's bored to help me out with cuz it drives me insane!!! (and my central locking has never worked! Lol)

Yeah ill get 4, they're only a few quid each. So ill grab that on the way, stick with old bolts for the time being and swap them over sometime in the future and other than that i think im all set. :) Cant wait!!! (just gotta remember to load the coillies into my car. lol.

Yeah sounds good, if we all chuck in a few squids we can nip out and get food during the day.... and do i need to get brake fluid for changing my abs pump if so what one, how much and where from? lol.

Just incase i can be of some use, i changed my own pads and discs and fitted my strut brace and i know how to do the oil change just havent needed to do it yet so can give you a hand nige.

I think im gonna do that actually they just called back with a price!! £17 for 4 bolts, washers and nuts, sod that!!!
