  3. try removing the switch of the back of the barrel possibly a connection block normally are on old cars then it might free up but then you can stick a screwdriver into the connection block to see if maybe thats jammed
  4. Make sure you turn damage off

  6. Locate the starter and hit the lump (solenoid) attached to it then try and start or try hitting it whilst someone turns the key
  7. There is a "how to" in the premium section to replace matrix if you lift up your front carpet is it wet underneath

  9. A scrick inlet manifold helps to overcome the low end bogging but they are expensive.

Fairly quick car for the money is amk4 golf gti from the vw dealership then go to where you change the oil on the far right you will see race modification so for less than £200000 you get a 316 bhp race spec car so if you limit bhp to say 350 it would be quite good and people won't be able to join with silly cars

  16. it was 2 1/2 years ago and they were made obsolete 1 month before that had to travel to croydon from crawley to pick them up as they would not transfer between branches
  17. id start by removing the stereo and cubby hole above it as they should come out easy then you should be able to see the screws

  19. im sure fk or similar will sell 5x100-4x100 hubcentric adapters but as Nige says the more powerful cars are all 5 stud but then the rs turbo was only ever 4 stud and 160bhp standard
  20. is it not the coolant temp sensor if you tell them what colour and where it is they usually know the part if your going to vw
