    my mates headgasket is on its way out, can anyone tell me what the torque rench settings are for head bolts on a headgasket removal for a 12v vr6, and also does anyone have or know where to find a headgasket removal guide. any help would be good, i can find mk4 vr6s but i want mk3 as i dont think they are the same, are they?

    i wasnt guna go down the rs route, im thinking of borbets or kerschers? i will just have to have a think. ya tyres look quite wide aswel, or is that me just seeing things lol

    my bro did a 3.5 rover v8 version, he had 2 golf rads one either side of the car, mite try and hide mine tho if i can, just dont have a rear seat

    My old man owns JAS buggys and has been building buggys for nearly 40years! there based on beetles and usually use beetle engines, now i want to build one, but with a VR6 anglias going on hold so work will start on the chassis before xmas. The one below was built a few years ago and is now sold, but you can get the idea of what it will look like. i will be adding photos on here as i go

    keep it a bit longer and get used to it, if it doesnt have coilovas, get it on some asap, they are fantastic! also my vr6 is faster than my old 2.5 e36 beemer when driven hard. there not overly fast no, but when you know the revs and where the torque is, its smiles all the way for me

    yeah i sprayed my coil pack with wd40 and it only pro-longed its death, it worked for a couple of months so i ended up getting a new one from GSF for nearly £100 brand new, all good after that. going back to the black + blue cap thing, mines black, is that bad then? are all standard ones blue?

    yeah ok, but ive got the recent golf+ mag with a black mk3 in it with 7.5x16s on front and 9x16s on the back says nuffin about arches bein rolled and the arces look untouched aswel. im avin a crisis her of wat to get as i will be buyin some wheels this week! if i were to get 7.5s all round i would want alot of dish but i dont want to roll arches. need some offset advice.
