    I had similar problem after leaving car at airport , had to drive from Stansted at 2 in the morning in Feb with all windows open. Turned out the microswitch in the door panel was playing up. Disconnected windowswitch and left for half hour ,reconnected and worked OK ever since

    local place to me , he sells mk2 gti`s mainly and mk1 convertibles, but has some mk3`s as well and a few Audi`s as well. I just bought an Audi A4 from him that was traded in on a mk2 GTI.     had 4 mk 1`s 3 mk2 2 scirroco and most other cars in between but only when i went to look at a 911 , put a deposit down as soon as engine started and heard that howling six cylinder lump , the decision was made never even drove it !!!

    i just done heater matrix on my other golf , its a bittch of a job, had to take dash out ,steering wheel off and stalks , but you dont need to remove metal brace that goes across car as you can lift up high enough when you remove 4 bolts from door shuts, and 2 bolts behind steering column . to drop all heater box out so is enogh room to lift matrix out , there are 3 bolts in engine bay holding heater in place , 2 you can see 3rd is under heat shielding , also to remove dash you need to remove 2 bolts under windscreen scuttle , there is 1 on right you can get too , but on drivers side you n

    hi again i`ve just seen on freeads.co.uk a Golf rallye for 7000 !!!!! No arguing this time its not a Japanese import !!!!!! Just a pity they didn`t put a VR6 lump in it.

    Hi all , just seen a VR6 for sale on freeads.co.uk only has 23800 miles , is an import from Japan . Its basically a brand new car , Its in Grimsby and the bloke wants 3850 for it !!!
