I deleted my abs so don't have to worry about that ..until I see the mounting face on the mk4 axle (still on the car in mates garage) I'm just guessing really..
How you doing with this ,,I have a full mk4 anni rear beam with 256mm vented brakes on and am just thinking about cutting the mounting section off the mk4 beam and welding it in place of the vr mounting point ,...any reason this won't work?
I will be attending this show on 26th July ,15 ,I don't know how myself but does anyone want to set up a club stand there? It was an increadable show last year at wetherby race course, Please someone take over this...
I had a leak in my servo pipe and it stopped mine from starting ,took ages to find it.. I took the engine back to bare essentials blocked all vac pipes at route and put one back at a time..
I had a problem where mine would start on the button idle fine but as soon as you touch the accelerator it would die ,,ended up being the maf ,,check that first,, Did it drive ok before the exhaust was fitted?
Congrats on the first start! Not sure about the fuse blowing but did you have the heaters on full when you bled the system ,could have an air lock in the matrix.. Sometimes takes a few bleeds to get sorted when I do it.
That's much better only that rubber bung should squeeze onto the bracket I think ,other than that it looks spot on.. Regarding the diverta valve I have mine in the boost pipe from turbo to intercooler but I think it can go either side..
Looks good in there ,sorry still haven't got the pic for you but basically turn the throttle body 90degrees clockwise and you will be able to use the cable mount as intended..
Thought it looked like that,,the engine will move a lot so the cable bracket has to be on the engine so it moves with it otherwise as the engine lifts it will pull on the cable.. Will post a pic of mine..
Great work so far, I have the same short runner but have my throttle turned to the side so the cable bracket works as it should ,, Have you mounted the bracket to the car body!!!.? .?
