  3. Nope,,unless you got deep pockets?
  4. Just need both vr looms and 24v looms rub them together ,done,,... Il be doing Aaron's r32 loom ,there's a few guides on how to do it ,with basic understanding it shouldn't be too difficult.or send it off with £200 and it can be done for you..
  5. Nice purchase ,,,you might struggle running it on obd2 as it's the later engine unlike highlines .. I would do it properly and get the me7 ecu and looms so it runs how it should ,loom splice is pretty simple too..
  6. As title ,my mate needs new brakes on his mk2 vr but his wheels don't have much space so could someone please get me the measurements of,,, Centre bore to outside edge of caliper, Disc mounting face (bit wheel bolts to) to front of caliper ,to see how far the caliper sticks out. Many thanks

  9. Small amount of work done but it's now sat outside so I can work on the garage, but with all that space I couldn't stop myself doing some prep ..all the subframe, wishbones, hubs are stripped ready for powdercoating, got some new bushes and ball joints ready for the rebuild.. Also with the engine stripped I started painting it..but I'm not sure on the colour now I've started, What's your thoughts..plan was to have red block and gearbox with dark burgundy pearl rocker cover ,inlet and boost pipes..
  10. I didn't use a cat when I did my 24v conversion back box is a must but straight through 2.5" pipe for the rest. What manifold are you thinking of using? I used 12v down pipe with modded r32 headers.
  11. Also instead of fitting the mk3 shift tower and shifter fet one from a mk4 golf ,much nicer shift.
  12. Hey looking good ,,,my old wheels look good on the estate...the 24v is a good lump plenty of low down power and pretty cheap conversion now ,I had one in my rado before I went turbo ...
  13. Mk4 gti callipers will be a direct fit with mk3 carriers ,discs and pads ,handbrake cable also fits in the same way as original ,,only thing that changes is that the hose connections are banjo type ,goodridge do a conversion hose for this ...very simple job
