    Glad your ok mate. There are some real lo lifes about out there. When i was 17 i got mugged at knife point for my 1.4l vw polo. Which funnily enough i found 2 weeks later in some flats car park lol lucky or what.

    Should sound really good once either turbo or supercharger gets fitted.

    2.5 cat back rear silencer is a vortec race muffler which isnt muffled has some special spirals in to spin exhaust gases out and makes a nice whistling noise when getting up to around 6k lol

    Bout time i started a build thread on here. Well i brought the car january 2009 and this is what it looked like when i picked it up. Took it home and gave it a good old wash and wax and it looked much better Saved a little bit of money up and got my custom cat back exhaust fitted with just one back back. Nice and loud with popping and burble on overrun. Found out shortly after that i was loosing coolant turned out my headgasket had gone and also my radiator. Got on the phone to jkm who fitted a new headgasket along with top end rebuild and full service. After everything was sorted i sav

    Oh rite i see so few tweeks then off to be mapped again later on i suppose. Im guna sort and replace a few bits on the car this year ready to go to stealth next year to have turbo kit fitted i think.

    I totally agree with the above. You get taught to pass your test and not to drive. I chosse to do pass plus when i past my test as more driving experience is allways best. It only cost me £120 for 6 hours and it nocked loads of my premium. Im now looking at doing an advanced driving course with a quailfied instrutor which seem to be ex police officers to further my driving experience.

    I heard oem top mounts are terrible. Think paul on here fitted a set of oem top mounts drove 20 miles to mot and was told they were advisory. Few other people have similar stories with oem top mounts. Definetly go with poly if you can.

    He means a very fine mist of water from something like a spray bottle to see if the coilpack is arcing. Just dont spray with hose/ pressure washer lol

    Sounds like timming chains. Is it the gearbox side of engine. Is the sounds most noticable at around 1200rpm. Have a search for timming chain rattle for more information and a sound clip.
