    Ok so sorted it the 1st time the bush had come out of the cable, did it again on route to UD then the weight snapped off. will source weight 2mura but does any1 no where to get hold of new gear cables ?? an also possibly a throttle cable ??

    ive had the same happen to me. It did it on M5 on route to UD managed to do a quick repair with some cable ties to hold the bush in but on the way home had to jump in micheal wood services as the weight snapped off the gearbox :-(.....Any1 no where to get a new cable i cant find them ?? Ps soz for hijackin

    Ok so finally got round to checking and found problem, thats now sorted but i have lost 2nd gear !! The weight lifts to go into second but there is no movement to allow it in to gear....... ?? Any ideas lads

    Clutch feels fine. Cant engage any gears the stick jus feels floppy and unresponsive.....

    The weight is moving round an it feels like its locking into a couple of gears but dont think its doing all of them (Although i could be wrong)

    Hi all, Hopefully someone here can help me. I have been having issues every now & then with regards to gettin the car in gear. Sumtimes its abit hard to engage well that has now got worse as the car has decided its going to get stuck in 4th !! I dont no wat could have caused this as im not 100% with gearboxes.....Any help would be ideal as it is a daily so need it alive again asap. Cheers Ps- Its a standard 93 vr6 gearbox.

    I had the same problem last year..........I wouldnt say its a massive problem but its a pain in the arse puttin a new 1 in as you have to rip everything out

    Heard a nice rumble earlier as i followed a 4mo from blandford to sturminster this evenin. Spotted a cheeky lil VR6oc sticker in the back window so thought i would stick it up here to see if any1 claimed it lol. Im local to the area so be nice to meet some fellow clubmen

    Lol yea ya have....... Drivers side mirror ( if electric ) Wat style dash vents does it have ?? How much for all 4 if it has the rounded 1s instead of the square 1s....... Drivers side elec window switch An poss a few other bits wen i remember wat they are lol

    I am having problems with the vr. It is only doin about 150 miles to a tank an thats driving sensibily. The trip sais im doing 37mpg but im clearly not. Any1 got any ideas ??

    Exhaust wise u have a pretty big list of people to choose from mine is a custom scorpion system with de-cat but not MOT friendly lol..Induction kit wise i would go for a BMC CDA as they are the best performance gain wise u will get for the money (in my opinion). Ive always liked magnecor leads they do a couple of different sizes for NA/FI an ive never had any problems with them

    I have bin looking into the differences between obd1 & obd2 and the only real difference i can see is the power difference. Would i be right in saying that if i changed to an obd2 system i would recieve this added power without changing any internals as from wat ive read its all down to different programming on the obd2 system ??

    Cheers as it happens ive got about 70% of that already so it wont be as bad as i thought .........................Will I have to change any of the ignition parts ?? Ive jus bin looking through the search an came across another conversion an he was after keys !! Would it be a good idea to get the whole ignition system from a doner car or just the ignition barrel ??     Hi all my car is currently an obd1 dizzy cap system. I was just wondering how hard it would be to convert it to an obd2 system.....Im not entirely sure as to what will be needed so any help would be idle. If any1 has done the conversion b4 and could give me a shopping list of parts that would be extremely helpful.... Cheers

    So i need a new starter motor as a m8 fried mine I think i have bin told on here b4 that a mk4 v5 starter will fit !! I jus want to double check as I know of 1 at local scrappy from a pretty mint mk4 ( Other than crash damage to rear ) Any help would be appreciated as i dont want to buyit an it not work.................
