Oh man I have owned 3 BMW's and never thought of a cable from them, top man Bealieboy I am gonna get one tomorrow.

moved the washer bottle next step is to move the battery but I am struggling to find cable to reach the boot I have seen it on eBay but you never know what your gonna get.

Nice to meet you too pal, and I met a few other people and saw some nice cars today I will hopefully have my car ready to go in the next 2 month if all goes to plan I am just stuck until the cage comes then I can start moving forward. The wait continues!!!

Your build is inspirational, I have just bought a 96 vr6 mk3 and a second engine and gearbox I am just in the middle of stripping it he car down and rebuilding it for track use at the same time as doing a complete engine rebuild on my number 2 engine and also supercharging my 1st engine. Ouch my head hurts ha ha, but looking at your build reminds me of how worth it it's going to be.

More parts came today still no rollcage, on the plus side I have come across this baby sat in a box it's a vr6 full engine with gearbox and lots of goodies it was from a guy who wanted to convert his mk2 gti but gave up. The beauty is it is only £150 and if I can use it as spares I can speed up my build by rebuilding this engine while still running the one in the car then swap later when i have sorted it.

I can't wait for Sunday I am heartbroken my car is not ready if my rollcage had come I would have polished the car up but kept the bonnet down but it's not gonna make the date oh well, I am looking forward to meeting some other enthusiast!

I will set up a build thread when i start but i am currently just buying parts to get the engine and charger all working then my next step is to chip it, remap, or visit stealth to get it the thumbs up from that point its pretty much good for santa pod or show events but it needs a lot more work to be track ready. I aim to have it totally finished with my goal being Nordschleife next summer.
