    As far as im aware its sparking where the lead connects to the side of the engine, right hand side if that makes any sense *-)

    One of my ht leads is sparking and seeing as im gonna do a major service i thought id get a new set of hts aswell. Their only costing £40 delivered to my door mate thats cheap and they come with some great reccommendations.

    Hi all im in the process of ordering some 7mm ht leads and they have just asked me to confirm whether i have a spark pack or distribution engine? Anybody know what this means or what my car has? My car is a 1998 golf vr6 highline *-)

    To be honest they seem like a steal at the price? I paid more than that for some cheapo nasty ones that are now falling apart so i think im gonna invest in a set too.

    What difference does it make if you wire them up? I mean do they come on with the main beam without switching the fogs on?

    When you say standard ngk's do you mean the ones you get from the stealers? If so what is the model number of these as the current ones in my car are champions which are still there from when i bought the car?     Ok i think will give these a go just wanted to see what everybody else thought of them and their reccommendations. I suppose you cant go wrong for that price can you? Also how about spark plugs? I no this has been discussed many a time before but i was chatting to sparks and he reccommended some audi s4 spark plugs for a better response?

    Really they seem a bit cheap, what brand are they? I was gonna get some from the stealers as i heard their about £60 and cant be beaten. Just wasnt sure if they sell any other colours other than boring black?
