    I have just noticed one of my ht leads is sparking so I am going to invest in a new set any recommendations or keep to the standard vw ones.

    Blimey you just beat me to it m8 was just typing. All sorted now BIG THANX to sparkz The problem was a fault with immobiliser not letting the fuel get through, i dont know exactly what the problem was you will have to wait for sparkz to reply. Once again m8 big thanks i was going crazy driving that polo..lols :S

    Hello mate hows it going im still loving the coilies Yes i have checked the fuel pump fuse its fine as for the speaker wire thing i'll give that a go. Ive got sparkz off the forum coming down tommorow so fingers crossed he will get it sorted.

    A few months back I bought some clear fogs/indicators from ebay and i have recently smashed one so i need to replace them. Anyway i want to get a new set so can any one reccommend some decent ones as these were cheap, they fell apart and were ill fitting but thats what you get off ebay i guess. Are fks the best? *-)

    Funny you should say that as by trying to start it over a few days i have flattened the battery so i have taken it off and charged it over night but it still does not start at all so i guess in a way i have done what you said? Also i noticed that when i re connected the battery the alarm didnt sound or go off where as it usually does or it did with my mk3 gti? Is this anything or am i just pissing in the wind?

    Been at it again today located the fuel pump (thanks vbub_steve) and had the power meter on it theres definately no power going to it so im now totally frustrated with this? What next?

    Been out there today with a friend who's a mechanic and I can confirm I am definitely getting a spark but it looks like no fuel. I have changed the fuel pump relay today also which made no difference. So could it be the fuel pump? If so where is the fuel pump located? I managed to get the crank case breather valve from ford too which saved me a fortune, cost me £29. Thanks craggsy I am thinking of towing the car to my girlfriends and calling the aa out unless anybody has any other suggestions. This is really doing my head in now the vr6 has been sat on my drive for nearly 3 weeks and im it

    Where is the best/cheapest place to get a volkswagen spark plug lead removal tool for my vr6? Ive heard the metal ones are the best as the plastic ones tend to melt.

    Just went to the vw main dealership to get this part and it turns out they don't sell it on its own you have to buy it as part of a set which is about £95 including vat. There's no way im going to pay this does anyone happen to know what my options are or some where i might find one?

    Also ive been told it could be the fuel pump relay? What number is this relay and would i hear the fuel pump buzzing when i turn the key to confirm whether it is this or not?

    Woke up this morning went out got into my vr6 ready to hit the sales and guess what it wouldn't start. It turns over fine with absolutely no hesitation at all? battery is fine so what the fuck could it be? Its never done this before at all and i was using it the day before so its not like its been sitting for a while? Please Help :@

    Hey got a question? I have my ipod hooked up to my pioneer deh-p77mp head unit in my car and every time i resume listening to my ipod once returning to my car after a few hours/days/what ever it always starts from the begginning instead of continuing from the track/album where i left off? Does this happen to anyone else or just me :@

    While we are on this subject doea anyone know if a 8v or 16v gti exhaust will fit the vr6? Also how do you rate powerflow exhausts?
