    Jesus its just took me 15 minutes to catch up on this thread! I was on at dinner too! This has got to be THE funniest thread on here, glad i have been following it from the start otherwise it actually would take me all night to read it, and ollie that summary actually was immense haha!! anyways no more pics of women on here we can all have a casual perv/drool over lol? Whats the latest on the calender?

    Right i am going to inters 09 due to not being allowed time off work for my maga holiday! Started a small build thread of what i want to do before the show to the car. Going to get my tickets online at the weekend, i love this show and its going to be better this year with the rolling road and on site camping!

    Decided to set myself a challenge/mini project! I want the car running and looking good for this show The idea is this, currently my vrt needs or must have the following: 1. Fix oil leak which involves removing the gear box 2. Full service (y) 3. New leads (y) 4. Clean the MAF/throttle bodies/isv valve to try and sort out the running issues im having (y) 5. Weld exhaust as it is blowing on the downpipe (y) 6. FULL RESPRAY (and i dont mean inside the doors and bay just what you can see as this is adaily) 7. New wheels, ideally split rims but if i cant find any in time, poss D90s or merc wheels

    I've got same problem, I'm changing plugs leads oil oil filter cleaning the maf anfd throttle body all at the weekend ill let u know how I get on

    I am changing my wheels as i am bored of the TT's now, i am sure im going to go for split rims, i just want to know what is the best wheel size/dimentions?? I am going to get 16s because ive heard they are better than 17s on a mk3. I am going to get a bit of stretch on the tyre aswel for more arch clearance but nothing daft due to the power. and i want to fill the arches. So what is the widest widths front and back without rubbing issues, (for the poke effect) And what ET do i need, like what is the range? Thanks in advance people, and if anyone wants to offer me a set of wheels pm me

    think 8s at the front will be tight mate really tight, might be easier with stretched tyres

    Im after one aswell but dont think id know how to work it and cba buying another laptop with xp on as mines less than 6 month old and got vista and heard it doesnt go well with vista
