    i dont have the duvet on the under bonnet either, looks 10 times better, my bay is alright but i dont show it off much even if there is a whopping turbo strapped to her lol. Things have been polished but gone dull due to heat and cant bring them up to a nice enough shine, needs polishing or chroming again really, but as has already been said remove what you can and dont go at it with the hose or you might get water where it shouldnt go. if your saying people have painted the engine bay what do you mean exactly? u realy need to put pics on for people to be able to help you out mate.

    not too sure lol! i want split rims that are already in very good condition and have stretched tyres on, thats option 1. if i cant find any id settle for a set of merc amg or porsche d90s something along those lines. just something nice and shiny really lol

    Yuupp lol! im finding it very hard to find wheels though already got a buyer for mine. Hopefully have a date for the respray in the next day or two aswel

    dont be lazy nat and get it done lol! Just dropped the car off at the garage for the oil leak to be sorted and the exhaust fixed (stop it sounding like a tractor)

    right how do you know if the club thing has worked, i am trying to get my ticket online, ive added 1x ticket for saturday night only camping and added 1x tent then added vr6oc.com on the drop down menu but every time i go to the page where you get the tickets from and go back to the checckout its back to 'please select' on the drop down menu, anybody know whats happening if what i just said made sense lol?

    Right so i got some work done on the car yesterday, a few things off my list. I cleaned the MAF, changed the standard ht leads which were a mess to 10mm dubpower ones, changed the plugs, changed the oil, and cleaned the air filter. When we started the car it was running like a sack of spanners and smoking like mad out the exhaust (white smoke) Tried putting the old plugs back in but still did it, tried the old leads but still did it, so thought it might be the stuff i put on the maf, turned out that 2 ht leads wernt in the maf properly! Anyways that stopped the smoke and misfiring, took it dow

    ill ask for ya, well im getting a full respray for 400 quid! he has done my dads scooby a few years ago and did an alright job, im not after a show car finish, its just getting tatty now and rusting in the usual places so thought id might aswel get it all done.

    yep will do, mini update... going to the bodyshop tomorrow to see the guy and when he can do it, car is booked in for getting exhaust fixed and oil leak fixed on monday, servicing car tomorrow afternoon and clean the maf isv and throttle body. got to order bonnet bra, exhaust wrap and something else but forgot what it is lol. thats about it so far.... o and i cant find any wheels grrr

    Not last year the year before at gti international we got band from the camp site as soon as we drove up due to my mate being a complete tw@t and wanting to arrive on a car bonnet lol, so we parked up further up the road and climbed over the fence with tent handy and ploughed through farmers fields lol, free camping came out of it though lol! And nat go to asda or sumert you can get a 2 man tent for like 8 quid, the tent ive got collapses in a heap it you blow on it
